As a Reiki practitioner, I specialised in bereavement and loss of a loved one as well as pregnancy loss and miscarriages. Grieving should not be rushed, the roller coaster of emotions associated with the loss of someone we love need to be dealt with one step at a time. Reiki can help unlock emotions that were suppressed as we have to "get on" with life while mindfulness can help cope with the every day life.
